We are a referral only dental service, bringing care to people who cannot be treated in general dental practice; our patients typically have learning disabilities, mental health issues or severe anxiety. They may be in situations or locations that traditional dental services cannot reach such as homelessness centres or secure settings. We focus on prevention through our oral health improvement and epidemiology programmes.

Oral health is a vital to health and wellbeing. Contributing to chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory infections, and vital to maintaining healthy nutrition, oral health is often overlooked. Poor oral health can erode confidence, limit social interaction and damage mental wellbeing.

Our social purpose is to enable our communities to enjoy a better quality of life by providing the oral health care they need to thrive.
