Making an impact

CDS brings dental care to people who cannot be treated in general dental practice; our patients have learning disabilities, mental health issues or severe anxiety, or be in situations or locations that traditional dental services cannot reach. Our social aim is to improve oral health across all communities.

We also work in schools and other community settings raising awareness of good oral health care and how this impacts on the wider health of the population.

Working as one team, our purpose is to really focus our resources and energy on serving people with specialist or vulnerable dental need.

“When we arrived at the hospital the team came out to meet us at the car. Immediately I knew this team was special. They were so kind and understanding to my son’s needs. It didn’t stop there and when we entered the building their teamwork really shown through. They had a clear and concise plan, throughout the whole procedure they were kind and caring not only to my son but to myself. This team are like a well-oiled precision machine.”
