While a second national lockdown put paid to the official opening of our new clinic in Lowestoft by local MP Peter Aldous, the team are up and running and receiving patients.
CDS began the refurbishment of the Old Magistrates Court in March 2020 after some time trying to locate a suitable premises locally. The building was handed over to CDS in August for fitting.
It represents an investment of £450,000 in local community health facilities and has three state of the art dental surgeries. Facilities include bariatric bench, wheelchair tipper, shifter base and OPG x-ray machine enabling patients to receive specialist care without having to travel outside the area.
Despite the challenges of COVID-19 impacting on the build, we were delighted to welcome our first patients in early October.
A unique feature of the clinic is a wall of quotes with patient feedback in the waiting room designed to reassure patients they are in capable and caring hands.
