Training for care providers

We provide a range of on-line, bespoke interactive training in oral health for care providers supporting a wide range of people from vulnerable elderly to people with learning disabilities. Our training will enable your organisation to meet the oral care requirements set out by CQC.

Our training will enable managers and care workers to understand the importance of maintaining good oral health and how to deliver first class oral health care to the people they support.

All our sessions are delivered by experts in oral health and training specialists. We work extensively with the care sector and understand the complex support needs of vulnerable adults. Our training offers participants the opportunity to ask questions and consider how they can apply their learning in their own setting.

Our training and support packages are for care managers and all staff involved in personal care.

The training sessions will raise awareness of the importance of daily mouth care as well as practical advice for those people that are dependent or need assistance in oral care techniques. It will provide carers with the knowledge and ability to plan and deliver daily mouth care in any setting including supported living, care homes and domiciliary care. It will provide your managers and staff with the tools for being CQC compliant in oral care as well as carers being more confident in delivering oral care. We also provide training around oral care and dementia (challenging behaviour) and palliative/end of life oral care.
