Dental Training
We have a long tradition of providing opportunities for Foundation Dental Practitioners (FD’s). We offer opportunities for our FD’s to grow in confidence and competence in a caring environment where learning is valued and skills nurtured and developed. CDS offers high quality facilities, a diverse range of patients and treatments and a committed training environment. All our trainers are experienced with the majority holding a teaching qualification.
Where will you be located?
The location where our FD’s are based varies from year to year but you will be in either one or two of our CDS clinics.

Dental Fellowships
Community Dental Services CIC (CDS) has developed a new work and training scheme for dental professionals in the early stages of their careers. CDS will be offering the Community Dental Fellow positions for dentists and therapists. Initially, posts are available in Lincolnshire and Norfolk.
The new Fellow posts will enable applicants to combine working in a salaried position in CDS’s community dental service, with 10 days paid study leave a year and funding of up to £10k a year towards a Postgraduate Certificate in a Dental Specialism.
Through the Fellows programme, dentists and therapists will gain further qualifications that will enable them to offer more complex treatments in primary care.
